The Mountain Guide's certification represents the highest level of mountaineering certification in the world.

HMGA mountain guides have been through a process that involves at list ten years and over one hundred days of training and examination in all three disciplines - rock, alpine and ski.

HMGA Mountain Guides are certified from Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering & Climbing (HFMC-EOOA) according to Greek legislation (Ν. 864/1937).
